Information under the Public Information Act includes most public documents, with limited statutory exceptions. The Family Educational Records Privacy Act ( i.e., grades, transcript requests, academic status, verifications, etc.) protects student records, except for directory information, from public disclosure. Student directory information is available at any time; however, this information is more complete following the official day of record for each semester.
In accordance with House Bill 3033 of the 88th 德州议会, the College has designated the below listed dates as non-business days for Public Information (打开记录) requests for FY24 (September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024). 请注意, these dates are in addition to the other non-business days as described in House Bill 3033:
- December 18-22 and December 27, 2023
